Notice is hereby given that the Leslie County School District is accepting sealed bids for additional access control components for the existing system currently in place. The Verkada system uses card readers to open certain doors to allow access to buildings. We need to add more door locks with new readers and retrofit existing components that are on an older system to work with our new Verkada system.  In addition, we need new Verkada Intercom devices at the main entrance of each grade school like what we have at the High School. All main entrance doors already have a Verkada card reader so the new Intercom devices will need to work with the existing hardware.  The high school will not need any additional controllers, but each grade school will need additional controllers. All wiring, parts, installation, and testing need to be included. If needed, one date for all interested parties will be announced for an onsite walkthrough.
